I’m a current PhD student in the McGuigan lab. My project is focussing on how new mutations differ between the sexes, including both mutation effects and dominance. To address my project aims, the lab has a long-term mutation accumulation study in Drosophila serrata, and the data from this experiment will form the foundation of my project.

I have a broad interest in evolutionary biology and have previously done work in other specific fields including sexual selection and evolutionary rescue. Furthermore, I have a background in theoretical biology, and have an interest in strengthening links between theory and empirical research.
